πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ UK 10-year gilt yields break 5.00% for the first time since 2008. Back then, debt-to-GDP was 40%.

Tuesday's DMO auction cleared 5-year gilts at 4.651%, up 42 bps from the prior sale. The 10-year gilt crossed 5.00% for the first time since 2008; the 30-year reached a 27-year high of 5.78%.
