On 10 October a missile struck terminals 3 and 4 at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Saudi authorities put the toll at 12 dead and 309 wounded, the deadliest attack on the kingdom in more than a decade, according to Reuters. The next day a second projectile hit terminal 4 and killed one more person, while another fell near King Fahd airport in Dammam, the Guardian reported. The Houthis claimed the strikes and told airlines to stay out of Saudi airspace. The Saudi-led coalition bombed Sanaa. President Donald Trump said the United States might join.
